"Please help us help a military family in need".
A Marine, serving in Iraq, has two huskie dogs. His wife would like to come home with their 3 small children to Louisiana to stay with family for a few months while her husband is away but she can't because she can not afford kennel care for their beloved dogs. We want to help this family with these expenses so we have started a fundraiser. If you would like to donate to this fundraiser please send donations to 4 Paws Rescue. If you donate $10.00 or more to this worthy cause you will get an autographed copy of a local author's childrens book titled "Why Did I Have To Be Born Last". The book is written at about a second to third grade reading level. It is a heartwarming story about a little boy who feels no one in his family cares about him so he decides to run away from home with his beloved dog, Max, at his side. The book deals with several real-life issues facing young children such as how to deal with anger, why it pays to be honest, why family is so important and, why, no matter what our problems are, running away is never the answer.
